Good Neighbour is a pre-application, early engagement service run by Shared Voice. It aims to inform immediate neighbours about development plans and gives them an easy way to feedback comments.

Digital-led consultation:
We do what any good neighbour would – informing immediate neighbours and stakeholders about the scheme and giving them easy ways to feedback, leading to a Statement of Community Involvement.
Good Neighbour coffee mornings:
An opportunity to engage local residents in a more informal, surgery style 1-2-1 meetings at a local coffee shop.
Stakeholder workshops:
A workshop targeted at key local influencers run by LGA accredited facilitators to explore specific themes, allowing for constructive feedback to inform the scheme.
Resident workshops:
Independently facilitated workshops of 6-8 local residents, chosen randomly, to explore specific themes, allowing for constructive feedback to inform the scheme.
Community opinion snapshots:
Local polling to pro-actively understand genuine community sentiment, not just relying on the voices of self-selected objectors.
